Nepalese suicide rate increasing in US soil. Recently, A Nepali youth has been found dead under mysterious circumstances at his rented room in Woodbridge, Virginia. The deceased is Bishnu Hari Bhandari, 34, hailing from Nuwakot. Bhandari was found dead at around 4 am on Thursday. The dead body has been kept at Prince Hospital for postmortem and the cause behind the death is yet to be established. Deceased Bhandari had arrived in USA only two years ago. He was also associated with Nepal Student Union Viginia Janasamparka Samiti. Bhandari is survived by his wife and two daughters.
A Nepali youth, who had entered USA via illegal channel paying hefty sum of money to brokers, has committed suicide in New York. Mohan Oli, 26, of Tulsipur in Dang district, who reached USA through Mexico two months ago, committed suicide jumping off third floor of a building in which he has been living in New York. Oli, who is said to be suffering from depression, was taking refuge in the house of other Nepali women Indira Gharti Magar.
It has been learnt that Oli has a wife and a 3-year-old son in Nepal. Similarly, two weeks ago, another Nepali youth Kshitij Shreshtha of Kathmandu had committed suicide by jumping off a bridge in California-
